Wild Thang was created and debuted in 1996 by Tony Farrell. Then in 2000, Wild Thang was bought by Paul Shafer and was soon converted to OZZ Monster. The truck competed until the late 2000’s. Then Doug Charles revived the name on a brand new truck in 2014. That truck ran until 2017, later being sold to Vern House.

After the purchase of Paul Shafer Motorsports, Wild Thang debuted in May of 2022, driven by Jeremiah Crane. Wild Thang is currently being ran on a OZZ Monster “rollover” chassis and body style. Unfortunately at a show in October 2022, Wild Thang was badly damaged. There is no full time driver for this truck until it can be repaired.

Wild Thang is not touring and there are no plans as of today to bring it back to the track. Check our social media pages for any news!
